Pathway to Parenting Classes
2024 Pathway to Parenting Class Schedule and Registration
The City of Petersburg is now accepting registration for Pathways to Effective Parenting Classes for parents, grandparents, childcare providers and anyone needing help with parenting and communication skills. Information focuses on pre-school children, primary, elementary school-aged children and teens. Classes are held on a Thursday - for eight weeks from 10 a.m. thru 12:30 p.m. Certificates are awarded to participants that complete their eight (8) week session. Session 1: Jan 19 - March 9 (no class on Feb. 9): This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting January 19 - Click below to register:
Session 2: March 28 - May 16. This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting March 28 - Click below to register:
Session 3: August 22 – October 10 (no class 9/14). This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting August 22 - Must register to attend.
Session 4: October 24 - December 19 (no class on 11/23). This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting October 24 - Must register to attend.
