Pathway to Parenting Classes
2025 Pathway to Parenting Class Schedule and Registration
The City of Petersburg is now accepting registration for Pathways to Effective Parenting Classes for parents, grandparents, childcare providers and anyone needing help with parenting and communication skills. Information focuses on pre-school children, primary, elementary school-aged children and teens. Classes are held on a Thursday - for eight weeks from 10 a.m. thru 12:30 p.m. Certificates are awarded to participants that complete their eight (8) week session. Session 1: Jan 16 - March 6: This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting January 16 - Click below to register:
Session 2: March 27 - May 15. This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting March 27 - Click below to register:
Session 3: August 14 – October 2 . This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting August 14 - Must register to attend.
Session 4: October 16 - December 11 (no class on 11/27). This is an "in-person" class. Classes will be held at the Petersburg Department of Social Services Building every Thursday, starting October 16 - Must register to attend.
